INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPEALING A PARKING VIOLATION ONLINE

If an individual believes there are extenuating circumstances regarding a parking violation, they may petition within five (5) days of receipt of the ticket, by completing the following online parking appeals form. Appeals that come before the Student Government Association are final and binding.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This appeal must be submitted within five (5) days of the date on the citation. Appeals of parking violations will only be accepted on-line. Once your appeal has been processed, you will contacted via e-mail by UPD. The e-mail will include the status of your appeal and the date that you are to appear at appeals court.

You must bring the original ticket to appeals court to complete the appeal process. If you do not have your original ticket, you must bring the copy of the ticket that was e-mailed to your JSU (GEM) e-mail account. Failure to appear on the assigned appeals court date will result in a guilty plea being entered by the court on your behalf.
